Push to Talk (PTT) Coil Tube Headset for Midland Radios - v3.0

New & improved - v3.0!

The new, improved version of the best Midland PTT product on the market!  Large, in-line PTT (push-to-talk) button to control opening your mic and keep the line noise-free.  PTT button provides tactile feedback so you can be confident in each push.

Microphone

The improved microphone keeps its all-metal housing and high speech intelligibility but now includes internal wind-dampening to isolate it better from outside noise.  Targeted impedance matching ensures better performance across all compatible Midland product lines, including those with wide variances in impedance across different manufacturing runs.

More cable where you need it.  Less where you don't.

Based on your feedback, we've added more cable length after the 'split,' where the microphone and earpiece cables diverge.  This means less pulling and snagging under your shirt... Big & Tall-friendly!   We've also made the coil tube run shorter so it's tidier at your collar and behind your ear.  The addition of an all-metal rugged shirt clip means you don't need to worry about your wiring staying in place.

Field-Replaceable Components

New for 2024, all components of the speaker assembly are field-replaceable, keeping your up and running when you need it most.   From the speaker housing to the metal clip to the coil tubing, we've got you covered.

As always, this pairs perfectly with Coda Room Audio custom-fit radio earpieces!

Compatible with most Midland (non-BizTalk) two-way radios.

Love this headset. Having the push to talk button on the belt is a game changer.

Great product, the cord is long, but good connections and clamps to keep in place. Great sound output.

The device doesn’t work. I am able to remove it and get a two-way communication with the radio.but when I plug in the Coda headset and push the button to talk into the mic. I get nothing through the other radio. I’ve also tried with my old headset and it works fine.

Thanks for the feedback, Katie. While we strive for a 0% defective rate, unfortunately, these things can happen. We got your email this morning and have processed a free return and replacement of the defective unit! Looking forward to getting you up and running asap!
